Download
Save Segra-win-Setup.exe. It’s under 200 MB and code-signed by SignPath.

Run the installer
Double-click the installer and follow the prompts. Segra installs to your user folder.

Start recording
Launch Segra, pick a recording folder, and your next game session will be captured automatically.

Minimum

Windows 10 64-bit (1903 or newer)
Any modern x64 CPU (Intel 6th gen / Ryzen 1000+)
~250 MB free disk for the app (plus space for recordings)

Is Segra safe?

Yes. Segra is open source under GPLv2, so anyone can audit the source. Builds are code-signed by SignPath Foundation using a certificate issued for the Segra project.

What's new

Sharing: Added Copy as 10/50/100/500 MB options that compress a video under the chosen size before copying it .
Clips: Accelerated clip creation with GPU-based video decoding and an automatic fallback to software decoding on unsupported hardware.
Window: Added saving of the window size and maximized state so the window reopens as it was left .
Audio Tracks: Added microphone and headphone icons that distinguish input from output tracks. Thanks @them3rcury!
UI: Added the source recording's thumbnail as a background cover on clip and upload cards.
Clip Editor: Changed segment resizing so the playhead stays in place while the video previews the dragged edge.
Clip Editor: Paused playback during segment resizing and resumed it from the correct position on release.
Clip Editor: Moved the playhead to the new start after resizing a segment's start edge.
